AIA HOST GOOD FRIENDSHIP WELCOME DINNER

On 03 October the Association of International Accountants (AIA), the global body for professional accountants were pleased to welcome a delegation of AIA members and senior business figures from the People’s Republic of China. The visit took place at the AIA Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne in the lead up to the AIA 90^th Anniversary Dinner, which takes place on 08 October at the House of Lords.

Delegates were shown a warm welcome and provided with a tour of the AIA head office, before participating in a series of meetings and debates on topics including international growth and the potential effects of the impending Brexit.

AIA Chief Executive, Philip Turnbull, commented during the visit: “It is always a great pleasure to meet and engage with our overseas members. Thank you to all of the delegates for taking time out of their busy schedules whilst in the UK to visit our office to help further build and strengthen links between our great countries and businesses.”

Following the meeting, delegates and AIA personnel had the pleasure of attending a ‘Good Friendship Welcome Dinner’ to celebrate ongoing business relationships.

Wilson Shou Hongzhou, Chief Executive at Beijing Huabao Weiye Consulting Co., commented on the visit: “I have been an active partner for the AIA for many years, and it never ceases to amaze me how the association continues to grow and develop globally.

“Thank you to Philip and the AIA team for such a warm welcome.”

 

     10月3日，AIA热烈欢迎来自由中华人民共和国的AIA协会成员和资深商界人士组成的代表团。这次访问于AIA90周年晚宴之前在AIA在纽卡斯尔的总部进行。该晚宴将于10月8日在上议院举行。

 

     与会代表受到热烈欢迎，并参观了AIA总部，然后还参加了一系列关于国际增长和即将到来的英国退欧的潜在影响等议题的会议和辩论。

 

     AIA会长 Philip Turnbull先生在访问期间表示：“很高兴与海外会员会面和接触。感谢各位代表从繁忙的日程中抽出时间到英国参观我们的办公地点以帮助进一步建立和加强我们伟大的国家和企业之间的联系。”

 

    会议结束后，代表们和AIA的工作人员很高兴参加了一次“欢迎晚宴”，以庆祝正在进行的业务关系。

 

    AIA北京代表处负责人寿宏宙说道: “多年来，我一直是AIA的积极合作伙伴，并且AIA在全球范围内的发展和壮大让我感到震惊。感谢菲利普先生和AIA团队的热烈欢迎。”
